As I have said in an earlier post Sundays are my favorite days on Ambergris Cay. Well, this weekend, I had yet another “favorite Sunday on Ambergris Cay…” but this time, it was in New York City.

June is Caribbean Heritage Month at Jazz at Lincoln Center and some of Turks & Caicos Sporting Club’s extended family were the headliner artists at this weekend’s concerts. Dion Parson and the 21st Century Band who led April’s In Conversation With… Jazz Weekend played 3 sets a night over the last week wrapping up the series last night at a special Father’s Day concert. TCSC members Ed and Darenda Sheridan with their kids, Dion’s, Victor’s and Carlton’s families and my boyfriend and I all joined together in the audience to enjoy Caribbean Jazz, and especially the public debut of 21st Century’s newest song: Ambergris Cay!!! Yes, Dion and his band had such a wonderful time with TCSC, they have written their newest song and dedicated it to our beloved club.
