So I just wanted to share with everyone our recent cooking classes we have hosted with the Morrill and Elfman families. Back in the end of June, Caroline Morrill approached me and asked if it would be all right for Kayleigh to cook a recipe she had been eying on the Food Network for dinner. Of course I love to teach, especially when it comes to food, but to be completely honest I didn’t have to teach much at all! Kayleigh’s Yogurt spiced “chicken” was all her own! She even made the suggestion to use freshly caught Yellowtail snapper (that she caught herself) for the dish instead of the chicken. And it was awesome! Liam also worked side by side with Melissa for some wonderful peanut butter cookies for dessert.
The Elfman group also made some really awesome pizza the week of July 16. Danny, Anny and Suzie all joined in the fun, along with their guest “Junior Chef” team, Cardin, Molly, and Nixon. Ben stayed on the sidelines and expertly photographed the whole session. One pizza almost covered the whole grill it was so big! We all rolled, grilled, topped and baked some really exquisite and simple pizzas that were enjoyed by all.
Hope for some more requests for classes soon!
