On Saturday before Easter every one who came by Calico Jack’s was encouraged to color an egg. Sunday, Easter, the kids came, decorated cookies while we all went to hide the eggs. There were many prizes compliments of our lovely concierge department, but the most sought after was the Golden EGG! No one knew what the prize for the keeper of the Golden Egg would be until the finder found it. As it turned out Martee agreed to a complimentary fishing package, so when it came time to tell Jean Paul the finder of the Golden EGG, we handed him a plastic shovel, bucket set and said, “That you can use on your complimentary fishing trip to dig for treasure if you find a deserted island!” The kids and the parents both had so much fun I would say this weekend was a great success!
